REPORTED x 1

I work as a loader at LHR (London Heathrow), and we have all recently had to start wearing high visability coats or jackets when at work. I think all UK airports are introducing the same thing. It is supposed to reduce the risk of being hit by a truck when on the ramp, but a mate has just had to be taken to hospital after his jacket got caught in a moving conveyer. Another airline at LHR has had 2 accidents this year as a result of the new airport policy. Is this really helping safety, or just lipservice to some new law???. We all drive carefully round aircraft, how many of us used to be injured by trucks each year?.
